After
Auditor-General Sheila Fraser exposed government
corruption, Warren wanted to show appreciation for her work
"Warren
On The Weekend"
planned a delivery in Ottawa of 100 long-stemmed
red roses as a note of appreciation from Canadian taxpayers.
And he invited Canadians to participate in making the bouquet
larger.
Donations
exceeded $5000 with thousands of signatures and hundreds of
letters.
As
a result,
900
long-stem red roses were delivered by chauffeured limosine
to Sheila Fraser in Ottawa
and
an additional 450 long-stem roses were delivered personally
by Warren to her office in Vancouver.
